Directoire period small scale portrait miniature pendant  of a French ‘Incroyable’  in high collar and full, crisp white cravat with fashionably unkempt hair.
Initialled by the artist A.D.V. 1802.
Typical rectangular glazed locket in 18 carat. Patch of cream silk to reverse.
