Ibhar means ‘the Chosen one’.
Romantic motto rings with simply the word emblazoned on the jewellery were popular in the last quarter of the c19th with Dearest, Regard, I Cling to Thee and Mizpah being the most frequently seen.Ibhar is by far the rarest of the genre.
