William Singleton(d.1793) was a pupil of Ozias Humphry and worked in London exhibited at the Society of Artists 1770-1790 and at the R.A.1779-1790.He painted portraits,sketches,miniatures and enamels.His brother Joseph was also a celebrated miniaturist.His nephew Henry Singleton was a famous artist in portraits and historicals.
